Privacy Policy - the basics

Having said that, a privacy policy is a statement that discloses some or all of the ways a website collects, uses, discloses, processes, and manages the data of its visitors and customers. It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.

Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.

What to include in the Privacy Policy

Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

The Truth About Your Tap Water in the UAE

Let's talk about the water in your home. If you see white spots on your glasses, feel dry skin after a shower, or notice your soap doesn't lather well, you're dealing with hard water.

What is hard water? It’s simply water with extra minerals (calcium and magnesium). These minerals are not harmful to drink, but they cause problems in your home:

  • Spots & Stains: On dishes, glass shower doors, and faucets.

  • Appliance Damage: Builds up scale in your water heater, kettle, and washing machine, making them less efficient and breaking sooner.

  • Skin & Hair: Can leave your skin feeling dry and your hair dull.

Why is UAE water hard? Our water mainly comes from the sea and is made drinkable through desalination. This process is great, but it leaves the water with a high mineral content.

The good news? It’s an easy fix.

  • A water softener for your whole home removes the minerals, protecting your pipes and appliances.

  • An RO system under your kitchen sink gives you perfect, great-tasting water for drinking and cooking.

Think of it as a small investment to protect your big investments—and your comfort.
